We are preparing shared costume jackets for a small theatre group and planning the fitting session. The same jacket size produces noticeably different lines on different performers during a quick try on. Our fitting notes should describe shoulder lines, waist placement and balance without ranking anyone’s appearance. We can keep a separate note for each performer and costume, including movement restrictions observed during rehearsal rather than assumed from appearance.
