A jacket fitting exercise has left me with questions about how body type advice translates into actual pattern changes. The cotton sample stands away from my waist, while a softer version of the same pattern hangs much closer. The discussion keeps moving between measurements, visual balance, and labels that appear to mean different things to different people. I would like to keep the next fitting focused on observations that another person could check. Which would you test first here: shoulder placement, hem length, or the weight of the fabric? I would appreciate a repeatable fitting sequence so that the next sample answers a specific question.
