For a portrait assignment, our class is exploring how a small styling detail changes the mood of a picture. Our model is happy to experiment as long as the hairstyle can return to normal that evening. Our current reference label is <a href=https://layeredhaircuts.top>blonde hair with pink bangs</a> for this project. Clip in pieces are the option we are considering because colouring the natural hair is not part of this project. The main challenge is making the coloured section follow the existing hair shape rather than sit awkwardly above it. A practice session should give us time to compare placements before the actual shoot. I will keep the background and camera position consistent so we can compare the styling choices fairly. We will ask the model to check the fit for comfort before deciding which version to use for the finished assignment. I would welcome suggestions about making a temporary fringe accent sit naturally in close portraits.
