I am helping with the hairstyles for a local early-2000s stage show. The costumes are simple, so the hair needs to suggest the period clearly. Our singer has long hair and wants to keep the existing cut. One possibility is a side part combined with two narrow braids. My concern is that subtle styling may disappear under the stage lighting. The singer moves around quite a lot during the performance, so we also need the style to hold together without constant adjustments between songs.
