I cycle to work and usually arrive with my hair flattened under a helmet. I am considering a fringe, but the maintenance matters more than a perfect salon photograph. At the moment my hair is shoulder length. My morning routine leaves little time for styling. I have been looking at curtain bang lengths because I want to discuss actual lengths with my hairdresser rather than point vaguely at an attractive picture. Front pieces that stay behind my ears appeal to me. A centre part is my usual starting point. I know a virtual image will not reproduce helmet pressure or show how my own hair dries, so I would treat it as a conversation aid. Has a similar cut worked with your cycling routine? I am interested in the awkward days as well. A quick brush is realistic for me. Daily heat styling would complicate the routine.
