My sister and I compare possible hair shades remotely, but our screens seem to tell different stories. On her phone the brown option appears reddish, whereas my laptop displays a much more muted shade. This is an early comparison exercise, before either of us makes a decision about actual hair dye. I found a reference for hair color simulator and would like to know how others handle differences between the screens showing their previews. Would sending the original photograph alongside each preview make the comparison easier to discuss? We could also label the options with plain descriptions instead of relying on the screenshot alone. The tricky part is telling whether we disagree about depth, warmth, or simply the display. If you have compared hair previews remotely, what made the discussion clearer without pretending the picture was a dye prediction?
